Bad Monkey Renewed for Season 2 at Apple TV+
The series originally debuted on Apple’s streaming service back in August with the season finale airing in October. The first season was based on the novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen. There is a sequel novel to “Bad Monkey” titled “Razor Girl,” but according to an individual with knowledge of the production, Season 2 will not be based on that book. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, Alex Moffat, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet, and Jodie Turner-Smith, with special guest star John Ortiz and guest stars Zach Braff, Ashley Nicole Black, Scott Glenn, and Charlotte Lawrence in her television debut.
Lawrence serves as showrunner and executive producer on “Bad Monkey” via Doozer Productions in addition to creating the series. Vaughn is an executive producer in addition to starring. Jeff Ingold and Lisa Katzer of Doozer also executive produce along with Matt Tarses and Marcos Siega. Warner Bros. Television, where Lawrence is under an overall deal, is the studio.
