We are already well into the month of November. Here are some shows that premiered this month or that are about to premiere soon that are worth checking out according to our SpoilerTV staff.


#1 The Day of The Jackal


Premiere date: November 14

Synopsis:
An elite sniper, a master of disguise and a highly trained killer, the Jackal is an assassin, coldly carrying out hits for a fee. Following an attack on a high-profile and notorious politician, he's offered his riskiest job yet, one that could pay him enough to leave this life for good. But his work has attracted the attention of Bianca, a tenacious British intelligence officer, whose world-class expertise in firearms makes her the ideal candidate to hunt him down. What follows is a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, as the Jackal works to carry out his new mission, while being pursued by Bianca. However, as the hunt continues and more casualties are caught in their crossfire, it becomes clear that there may be other forces pulling the strings. As both Bianca and the Jackal's personal lives clash with their work, they risk everything, pushing themselves to their limits with disastrous consequences.

Synopsis:
The series follows the lives of people growing up in Belfast in the 1970s, 80s and 90s during the Troubles, as well as their involvement in the Provisional Irish Republican Army, and inquiries into the Disappeared and particularly the murder of Jean McConville.

#3 Dune: Prophecy


Premiere date: November 17

Synopsis:
Set 10,000 years before the events of Dune, the series follows sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen. After the Atreides exiled the Harkonnens as traitors to a cold planet following victory over thinking machines, Mother Superior Raquella Berto-Anirul starts the fabled Bene Gesserit sect, truthsayers useful to the powerful, and begins a genetics program to rule the future. When Raquella dies, she envisions a sandworm threatening civilization, and urges Valya to lead and do something.

Synopsis:
In the heart of Texas, roughnecks and billionaires try to get rich quick in the oil industry; Tommy Norris, a struggling executive, tries to take his company to the top during the fuel boom.

#5 Cruel Intentions


Premiere date: November 21

Streaming: Prime Video

Synopsis:
Prime Video’s Cruel Intentions TV series reboot takes place at Manchester College in Washington, D.C., where the conniving Caroline Mertueil (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lucien Belmont (Zac Burgess) will do anything to stay atop the social hierarchy. Following a hazing incident that threatens to bring down the Greek system, the stepsiblings will do whatever they can to preserve their influence, even seducing Annie Grover (Savannah Lee Smith), the daughter of the vice president of the U.S.
