The upcoming season of Peacock's Emmy Award-winning series Poker Face has announced its first set of guest stars, including Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann, and Kumail Nanjiani. Details about their roles remain undisclosed.
Poker Face, created, written, directed, and executive produced by Rian Johnson, is a mystery-of-the-week series starring Natasha Lyonne as Charlie, who possesses a unique ability to detect lies. She travels across the country in her Plymouth Barracuda, solving peculiar crimes along the way.
The first season featured numerous notable guest stars such as Adrien Brody, Ron Perlman, Chloë Sevigny, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and more. Judith Light won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy for her role in the series.
Tony Tost is the showrunner and executive producer for Season 2, alongside Johnson, Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, and Nora and Lilla Zuckerman. The series is produced by T-Street, MRC, and Lyonne's Animal Pictures. Lyonne will also return as a director for the new season.
