Press Release

Loot is returning for a third season on Apple TV+! The show, starring and executive produced by Maya Rudolph, has been renewed, and the cast was informed about a month ago. Season 3 will continue the story from the Season 2 finale, with Molly Wells (Rudolph) and her assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) boarding Molly’s private jet following an awkward exchange with Arthur (Nat Faxon).

The new season will again focus on the quirky and beloved team at The Wells Foundation. Alongside Rudolph, Booster, and Faxon, the ensemble cast includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez and Ron Funches.

Rudolph and executive producer Danielle Renfrew Behrens expressed their excitement about the renewal and their joy in working with Apple TV+ and the talented cast and crew.

Season 2 began a year after Molly's public divorce from tech billionaire John Novak (Adam Scott). Molly thrived as the head of the Wells Foundation, focusing on charity work and personal wellness. Key characters include Sofia Salinas (Rodriguez), the efficient executive director, and Isaac (O-T Fagbenle), Molly’s charismatic architect friend. The season also highlighted the bromance between Howard (Funches) and Nicholas and Arthur’s new carefree attitude.

Guest stars for Season 2 included Benjamin Bratt, Ana Gasteyer, and O-T Fagbenle. The creative team behind Loot, including creators and executive producers Yang and Hubbard, along with Rudolph and other producers, will continue to bring joy, laughs, and heartfelt moments to audiences.
