Nearly three decades after the release of Cinderella starring Paolo Montalban as Prince Charming and Brandy as Cinderella, the two have reprised their roles for Disney+’s Descendants: The Rise of Red, now streaming on Disney+. Not a Disney+ subscriber? Don’t worry as the film will be premiering on Disney Channel on August 9th at 8pm EST.
Descendants: The Rise of Red follows the next generation of heroes and villains at Auradon Prep where the evil Queen of Hearts has hatched a plan to rule. Only her daughter Red with the help of King Charming and Cinderella’s daughter Chloe can stop her.
I caught up with Paolo Montalban to celebrate the release of the movie on Disney Channel and to chat about what it was like coming back to his iconic role.
