Press Release
The CW Network has renewed its flagship drama series, All American, for a 13-episode Season 7 set to premiere in 2025.

The renewal of All American doesn't come as a surprise. The college drama was in the strongest position among the remaining legacy CW scripted series to continue. However, there have been rumors about potential budget cuts for Season 7, though it remains unclear if these rumors are accurate. The show is anticipated to undergo casting changes, with some current cast members expected to depart while new faces join, potentially reducing above-the-line costs.

Throughout its seven seasons, All American has been building towards concluding the storyline for its main character, Spencer James (Daniel Ezra), who is on track to enter the NFL draft after securing a championship during his junior year in college. The additional two episodes added to Season 6 in April, expanding it from 13 to 15 episodes, are expected to help wrap up the current narrative arc and set the stage for the next chapter.

All American holds a unique position as the last remaining CW series from the extensive Netflix output deal made with WBTV and CBS Studios. This allows the studio to absorb some financial impact from the CW and still benefit from continuing the show for more seasons.
