Press Release
Great news for fans of "The Conners": the sitcom, a continuation of "Roseanne," which recently celebrated its 100th episode, is set to return for a seventh season. The show is finalizing its renewal, with plans for a brief concluding season of about six episodes, according to sources. The main cast, including John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, and Lecy Goranson, is expected to come back.

After six successful seasons, "The Conners," produced by Tom Werner’s Werner Entertainment, continues to hold strong in the ratings. Last spring, both Bruce Helford, the showrunner and executive producer, and star John Goodman hinted that the sixth season might be the show's last. Helford emphasized that Sara Gilbert, who played a crucial role in launching "The Conners" after "Roseanne" was abruptly canceled, asked for sufficient notice to craft a fitting conclusion to the series.

Helford described the potential final episode as either a season or series finale, calling it "unexpected" and "emotional" in a recent interview with Deadline. He also revealed that a special scene was filmed to potentially conclude the series at the end of Season 6, but it now seems that won’t be needed.
