Bridgerton Season 3, Part 1 airs May 16th and the Ton is a buzz with what to expect. It has been over two years since we visited the Bridgerton family and their world. The first four episodes that air tomorrow will tell the love story of the popular couple Colin and Penelope.
Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton have been dancing around each other for the last two seasons. Colin would have to be truly blind to not see that Penelope has feelings for him. She has been the only person truly there for him, listening to him and encouraging him. Unfortunately for Penelope she has been put far into the friend zone.

What we can expect from this new season of Bridgerton is pretty much what we have been getting all along: romance. This season will focus on the friends to lovers trope. Perhaps enemies to lovers like Anthony and Kate as Penelope overheard Colin last season saying that he would never court her. So, how do they come together? Simply, Colin will have to work to get back into Penelope’s good graces.
The remaining members of the Ton will not miss out on the drama. Lady Violet Bridgerton and Lady Agatha Danbury have a lot to talk about. Last we saw them, Violet just figured out that Agatha had an affair with her father. Not to mention that Queen Charlotte is still determined to unmask Lady Whistledown. Lastly, Eloise and Penelope need to figure out where they stand once Colin undoubtedly falls for Penelope.

She has, however, decided it's time to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, far away from her mother and sisters.
