Press Release
"Quantum Leap" has taken its final leap. NBC has decided not to renew the imaginative sci-fi series, starring Raymond Lee and Caitlin Bassett, for a third season, as confirmed by TVLine.

In its second season, the storyline picked up with Ben (played by Lee) reappearing after a three-year disappearance, during which time the HQ team had ceased operations under the belief that he was deceased. This backdrop paved the way for an intense season, as Ben and Addison (played by Bassett) dealt with the fallout of their complex breakup amidst new romantic entanglements.

The season, which was shortened to 13 episodes, concluded with a two-hour finale on February 20. The finale revealed that Ben's new love interest, Hannah (played by Eliza Taylor), had developed a code to bring him back. However, the plan took an unexpected turn when Addison, having just broken off her engagement with Tom (played by Peter Gadiot), chose to make the leap herself, landing her right next to Ben in the past.
