In first place and with 46% of the votes we have Mandy Moore.
Mandy Moore portrayed news producer and scorned lover of disgraced doctor, Paolo Macchiarini, with emotional depth and an authenticity that allowed the viewers to connect with her character and empathize with her situation. Moore captured the vulnerability and strength of her character in a nuanced and layered performance that showcased her versatility as an actress. This was a very different role for Mandy Moore and she stepped into it with ease, demonstrating her immense talent at being able to bring different characters to life on screen.
In second place and with 20% of the votes we have Krys Marshall.
Throughout Season 4 of "For All Mankind," the Apple TV+ space drama makes ample use of Krys Marshall's excellent ability to portray the inner turmoil of Commander Danielle Poole. In Episode 5 ("Goldilocks"), that inner turmoil explodes as Danielle unleashes a well-deserved barrage of obscenities toward Ed Baldwin (Joel Kinnaman) before relieving him of duty. The scene not only unburdens Danielle of three decades of mostly biting her tongue but also provides Marshall with an opportunity to showcase the best of her dramatic talents. Conveying a seemingly effortless sense of both rage and sadness at the season's halfway point, Marshall renders a beautiful performance.
In third place and with 16% of the votes we have Matt Bomer.
Matt Bomer's heartbreaking performance as Hawkins Fuller in Fellow Travelers has not gone unnoticed. Bomer locates a wildly charismatic, self-destructive Don Draper streak in Hawk; even when he realizes he can’t go his whole life hurting the people who care about him most, Hawk can’t decide whom he wants to hurt least.
