ITV's popular cop drama Unforgotten has been renewed for a sixth season, with Sanjeev Bhaskar and Sinéad Keenan reprising their roles. Chris Lang, known for shows such as Innocent, Dark Heart and The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe, will write the six episodes. The current fifth season has been ITV's standout drama of the year, with episode one scoring 8.4 million viewers, the network's highest rating of 2023 so far.
