Update:

With the polls closed, the final character list is determined. Before I open the prediction contest, I need your help. Please look over the list to check for any misspellings and if any actor is represented by more than one character. Thanks for helping out and hopefully you have some favorites in the Cup. ************************************************************************

Nominations are now closed and it's time to finalize our bracket. Today is all about the nominating and ranking polls. There are 3 shows - Fringe, Supergirl, and The Umbrella Academy - that had the same number of nominations for multiple characters. Therefore, fans of these shows need to choose their champion in the nominating polls. Only one character from each show will be in the Character Cup. We also have ties in some crucial positions so anyone in the top 12 who got the same number of nominations will have ranking polls. Ranking polls simply determine where a character falls in the brackets. All of these characters are already in the Cup. Any other tying characters will be ranked randomly to reduce the sheer amount of polls we would have. Polls will stay open until around 1 pm CST on July 23. Questions? Put them in the comments below. Happy voting!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. If you don't see your favorite characters, that does NOT necessarily mean that they didn't make it in. Many characters are already set and don't need a poll. In the nominating poll, the character with the most votes in each poll will proceed into the contest. In the ranking polls, each character is already in the Character Cup.

2. You can only vote for 1 character per poll and no voting results will be shown.

3. Polls will close around 11 pm CST on July 23. The prediction contest will begin shortly after that. Things go rapidly in the Character Cup so check in daily to keep from missing anything.

4. Don’t forget to say who you voted for in the comments. It’s a great place to talk up your favorites too. Also, if you have additional ideas for our TV Talk Topics, post them here. Again, happy voting!
