Alien-Harry got to meet Harry’s daughter then traveled to New York looking for another alien. I spent these two episodes falling even more in love with these characters.
We finally got the details behind all of those conversations between the Sheriff and his father. The ‘Jesse’ he feels so much guilt over wasn’t just his partner, but his best friend since childhood.
We’ve seen how much the loss, and the guilt over Jesse's death has kept the Sheriff from getting close to anyone. Deputy Liv slipped through his defenses. He lost it when she came close to what he perceived as a dangerous situation.
These two have soared to the top of my list of pairings on this show. The scene in the park was really nice and kind of heart breaking.
I do love that Liv isn’t letting her belief that aliens messed with her memory go. I’m really curious about how this is going to play out. Do you think Harry will re-wipe her, as he did the Sheriff?
Or will Asta and Harry have to figure a way to keep from being hunted or turned over to the general?
It looks like I might still get my wish with D’Arcy, but not as quickly as I initially hoped. I’m still bummed that she stood up that nice guy she met in the bar.
I'm not really sure what to make of her day hanging out with Ben. It was nice to get a glimpse of D'Arcy and Ben as long time friends, but it was kind of sad to hear he can't be himself in his own home. He and Kate are both unhappy. I'm curious to see where this goes.
Harry and Liza bonded over, well, acting like teenagers. They attacked each other with water balloons, then turned those balloons on Ben when he tried to stop them.
What can I possibly say about that play? It started out so well.
Then it slid sideways into what struck me as the perfect play for this town.
I’m going to give 10 points to the Sheriff for coming up with an idea that might just push Jessup out of the running for a swanky resort.
I can’t figure out whether I should root for Patience getting the resort or not. What do you think?
Why!? Why kill off #42? (My guess it was mostly for practical reasons.)
That said...I have no idea how to process, let’s say, Harry following #42’s final wishes. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that.
The New York sequence went a little differently than I expected.

Human-Harry was in the middle of a conspiracy that, I’m guessing, is going to make Alien-Harry’s New York visit more complicated than an ill-advised does of LSD.
I didn't expect Goliath to confront Asta! Has she (it?) lost her alienness? Are Harry's concerns valid?
What kind of pie is the world's best pie? I was expecting Casper, the alien hunter, to show up in New York. For some reason I didn't expect her to have the pizza place's phone number.
I’m looking forward to the conclusion of the New York story. It’s gonna be fun. I'm hoping for a nail biter.
This season we’re getting to know the citizens of Patience, Co much better and I’m loving it. I wasn't expecting to like where the stories were going to go this season. They've kept me hooked.
