Brand new in 2022, Sky reveals the TV that’s set to get the nation talking with five first-look trailers showcasing the latest Sky Originals. So, whether you are a fan of dramas, entertainment or documentaries, check out the trailers to get a sneak-peek at the latest must-see shows from Sky.

The line-up features much-loved British talent including Keeley Hawes, Max Beesley, Katherine Jenkins, as well as a never-seen before look at Mother Teresa and a ground-breaking new wildlife series.

Kicking off the year with an exclusive look at some of the shows that are set to get TV fans talking, Sky will also be launching a ‘TV fan club’ and Sky Cinema reviewers programme that will see real-fans and influencers previewing new Sky films and TV shows - putting the power of the review into the hands of the fans and kick-starting the conversation online.

To celebrate the exclusive look at the new shows, Sky commissioned new research that reveals we are in fact a nation that loves a good TV recommendation – with 48% of us admitting to having a trusted ‘go to’ when we want to know what to watch, with mums (12%) and best friends (11%) topping the list of who we trust the most.

The research also reveals that more than one in four (27%) Brits have posted a TV or film review online, demonstrating how us Brits are becoming a nation of armchair experts and couch critics.

You can check out the new first-look trailers by uttering the phrase ‘Brand New In 2022’ into your Sky voice-controlled remote, as well as catch up on returning favourites on your TV at home.

Other much-anticipated shows coming to Sky this year also include Game of Thrones prequel, House of The Dragon, thrilling drama Gangs of London 2 and the new adaptation of the much-loved book, The Time Travellers Wife.

An exciting modern-day reimagining of John Wyndham’s science fiction classic starring Keeley Hawes and Max Beesley. Midwich is a quiet commuter town where nothing much happens. That is, until the twilight hours of a late summer’s day, when everyone within a set area of the town falls unconscious. The curious incident seems temporary and those affected regain consciousness, but every woman of child-bearing age inside the zone has suddenly and inexplicably fallen pregnant. As the children of the phenomenon grow, it becomes clear they are not of this world.
