The Sinner - Part IV - Review: Meandering

"You know that feeling"

Honestly, I feel like I don't have much to say here, perhaps it's just me but I just can't get the full picture and the details do not intrigue me in the least. We see there was something a little creepy with Percy's relationship with her uncle who tried to get her into praying and we see eventually she turned to some different type of worship, I assume we'll see more about that in the future but I just want it to be over.

This season feels like they're just stretching everything out unnecessarily, like they had some sort of idea but it was only enough for six episodes and they had to get more out of it, the rest is just padding, just Harry meandering gloomily all over town.

And Sonya's last words (for now) to Harry were just so dumb, "what makes you so persistent makes you obsessive?" (No shit, Sherlock). Honestly, I'm just glad she's gone, the whole thing is boring right now but she was making it especially annoying and there's just so much I can bear before dropping a show.

I'm afraid I might just have to wait till the season ends to review what's left because right now I feel like the only place to go is making predictable conjectures that I don't really care about. I might like the season in the end, you never know, but the weekly outings are definitely not doing it for me.
