Y: The Last Man - Neil - Review: "They Named You After A Dead Clown"

In the third episode of "Y", the discovery of Yorick isn't the central point of the narrative. At least, it's not the only one. Our President Jennifer Brown is really trying her best to save everything that's possible, but a little hiccup along the way might jeopardize all that she and her cabinet have done in the last weeks. Also, shouout to that amazing cabinet who's getting the job done.

On the other hand, Kim is trying to establish her position inside the new administration by being the fervent opposition; she emboldens her father's supporters and his agenda, which she shares and she uses her power to go against Jennifer and the other members of the cabinet. Because there is a possible constitutional crisis on the horizon and I can't wait to see how this plays out. Regina Oliver, a righfult successor to the presidency, was presumed dead, but she is eventually found alive in Israel. She is the rightful President of the United States, but Jennifer and the cabinet know that she cannot be the most powerful woman in the world. A "fringe lunatic", as she is described, she's anti-vax, pro-life and racist. Imagine bestowing power to someone like that, in times of a global crisis.
And then there's the Yorick of it all; he is desperate to find Beth, who we still don't know where she is or if she's alive, so he's only focus seems to be that. I appreciated the talk he had with his mom about not feeling particularly fit for the purpose they all know; he thinks he's not enough because people made him feel that way and never took him seriously, and that's why I feel like his moment of "glory" (if I may use this word) will make him realize how important he is to the whole narrative and that he is special in his own way. And yes, your mom is a badass!
What about Sarah? Yes, she's exceptional at her job and the President trusts now, especially after having brought home her son. Sarah knows how to navigate the world of powerful power and players, and she knows exactly what to do with the pilots who knew about Yorick being alive; she gave them something they were waiting for, they wanted to matter and that's what they did, until Sarah took care of it. Because we all know that that wasn't an accident, right?
What do you guys think will happen to Yorick now? Will Hero ever agree to be found? And what about Nora and her daughter? And we will probably get to meet Dr. Mann. Let me know in the comments below!
