With a new episode this week let us do a quick rundown of the fourth episode of S5 and what’s ahead in the next one in line.
5.04 – Overview
Team Reina works tirelessly to get a justifiably pissed off Marcel out of prison. With the feds snooping around, Lucien makes his own moves for control over NOLA, and pays the ultimate price when Teresa gets onto him. As a result she makes sure to evade the FBI’s investigation, while setting up Gamble as the fall guy instead. James’ does not hide his disappointment over how the situation was handled and the tension between him and Teresa seems to have started bubbling. The timing couldn’t be worse for Pote and Kelly Anne to let her know about the baby. Alas, it’s throughout this mess that they do break the news...
5.05 – Mas Dinero Mas Problemas
With the pregnancy news officially out and after a couple small missteps on her part, Kelly Anne begins to worry about her place in the business.
Meanwhile George is sent to check in on Boaz, who is all too aware his place in the business is not the best at the moment, and makes sure to act accordingly.
Oksana shows up in NOLA requesting an assist of a more personal nature from Teresa, even though the ghost of Kostya is ever prevalent. This leads to a cross-Atlantic road trip for main Team!Reina, all the way to Berlin. Ever the entrepreneur, and despite the fact that helping Oksana proves to be quite a complicated hassle, Teresa does not miss out to jump onto a few opportunities that arise, in order to expand the business. The return to Europe, also offers a way to tie up a loose narrative thread from S3 that’s been far too ignored, since it was set up.
