The SpoilerTV Favourite TV Series Competition 2020 - Day 28 - Wynonna Earp vs. Fringe & Motherland Fort Salem vs. Once Upon a Time
Sep 11, 2020
2020 TV Series Competition Cancelled Shows Motherland: Fort Salem Once Upon A Time Wynonna EarpWynonna Earp is beginning to perform at the level I'd have expected in recent years. A third-round appearance after two first-round exits and a non-appearance in 2019 seems far more par for the course for a show which has a supremely dedicated fanbase. The quarter-finals are in sight, although former runner-up Fringe stands in the way. It narrowly beat Castle in that thrilling second-round tie and is aiming for back-to-back last eight spots.
Based on the draw and its performance in the Episode Competition, the third round felt like the minimum expected for Motherland Fort Salem. That is indeed where it stands, defeating Almost Paradise in the battle of the two emerging shows of 2020's competitions. Today will be a real challenge, though, because Once Upon a Time has already knocked out the most-nominated finished show in Dark. This is already the ABC show's best performance since its second-place finish on debut in 2012.
A reminder of the rules:
