Update: A previous version of this post did not include the winners of six categories (the tabs were erased accidentally) but they have now been added. Thanks for the keen observation and reminder, readers.
You submitted your answers for the best and worst that television had to offer towards the end of 2019 and now the results are finally in. We received over 1800 responses. Thank you for taking the time out to put your TV feelings down. As always, it was fun to see the variety of answers that came pouring in.
As we dive into the results, please keep the following points in mind:
1. Each winner's list consists of the top three choices that got the most votes for their categories.
2. There's quite a surprising range of answers this time around so if your picks didn't win, don't take it personally!
3. It was specified in the rules that you only have to answer ONCE. Submissions that didn't adhere to this rule were disqualified but it was great to see that almost all of you actually stuck to the rules, unlike last time! It made my work easier and more fun. To those who didn't follow the rules and voted multiple times, none of their votes were counted.
4. Under some categories, you'll see my own notes in red. They'll include some honorable mentions, my personal observations about the results, fun facts about last year's winners in the same categories.
Without further ado, here are your winners!
BEST TV DRAMA:

3. When They See Us
The only eligible winner from last year was Killing Eve, which didn't even make it into the top 10 this year.
A shoutout to some honorable mentions like Madam Secretary (#4!), Watchmen (#5), and Chernobyl (#6).
Fun fact: at least one person has submitted Boston Legal for every category, including this one and several others. You'll never fail to make me laugh.
