Empire - Do You Remember Me & Remember the Music - Review

Empire season six is still not surprising me, I am not a big fan of this last season, but let’s summarize what happened in "Do You Remember Me?” and “Remember the Music”.

In the first episode, Cookie has finally a segment on Teat Talk talking about music. There she gets to know Malody, an artist with a great talent that Lucious dismissed years ago. She decides to work with her, in order to make her voice emerge.

Lucious spends the day with Yana, Andre tries to convince Prophetic the Poet to join Empire, and Tracy finds incriminating evidence that could create huge problems to Lucious: in a tape, Shyne reveals that he and Lucious robbed Philly Street of the $400k. Tracy and Philly Street plot revenge.

In the second episode, the episode is centered on the possible divorce between Lucious and Cookie. Will they finally sign the divorce papers? This complicated relationship was interesting at first, but this relationship is getting repetitive

Tracy is clearly this season’s villain, but her inclusion in this season doesn’t feel appropriate. She is still trying to take down Lucious, but she is not the only one. Andre and Kingsley decide to ally because they both want to take down their father.

All in all, this series is getting closer to its end and I have to be honest: it’s time. And you? What do you think “Do You Remember Me?” and “Remember the Music”?
