Hailee Steinfeld (Dickinson, Bumblebee, The Edge of Seventeen, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) has been offered a lead role in Disney+'s upcoming Marvel Phase Four series, Hawkeye, per Variety's exclusive. The Hollywood Reporter has also confirmed that Hailee Steinfeld is in early talks to star as Kate Bishop opposite Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton in the Marvel Studios series.
Kate Bishop utilizes her notable combat abilities to fight the good fight, whether as a Young Avenger, alongside mentor Clint Barton, or on her own.
Jonathan Igla (Mad Men, Pitch, Sorry for Your Loss) has been tapped as the writer and executive producer on the limited series expected to debut during Fall 2021 on Disney+.
