Abigail Cowen (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) has been cast to star in Netflix's live-action, 6-episode series, Fate: The Winx Club Saga, per Deadline's exclusive. The series is inspired by the popular and beloved Italian animated franchise from Rainbow Group and Archery Pictures. Iginio Straffi, CEO of Rainbow Group (Winx Club) is also as executive producer on the Netflix adaptation.
Principal photography has begun in Ireland.
Cowen will star as Bloom.
Fate: The Winx Club Saga follows the coming-of-age journey of five unlikely friends attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their magical powers while navigating love, rivalries and the monsters that threaten their very existence.
Brian Young (The Vampire Diaries, Kyle XY) serves as the showrunner on Netflix's Winx Club Saga and executive produces with Judy Counihan and Kris Thykier of Archery Pictures.

The Winx Club has been in development as a live-action series for Netflix since 2018 per Deadline.
