ABBY FACES THE LEGAL WRATH OF A POWERFUL COMPANY ON ‘CHESAPEAKE SHORES’
PREMIERING SEPTEMBER 8, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

STUDIO CITY, CA – August 7, 2019 – The consequences of blowing the whistle on a Ponzi scheme begin to hit Abby (Meghan Ory) on “Chesapeake Shores,” and her family rallies around her in “A Sonnet for Caroline,” premiering Sunday, September 8 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. As she faces both legal and professional ramifications, Abby tries to distract herself by volunteering during her leave from work and meets an intriguing new man. Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) mentors Emma (Lanie McAuley), a waitress and songwriter, and encourages her to perform her music at The Bridge. Mick (Treat Williams) and Megan (Barbara Niven) fear that the return of their romantic feelings will complicate their friendship.

Fortunately, Nell (Diane Ladd) is back in town as a confidant for Megan. Jess (Laci J. Mailey) and David (Carlo Marks) navigate a bidding war for a new B&B. Meanwhile, Kevin (Brendan Penny) discovers that his family’s good intentions have Sarah (Jessica Sipos) feeling overwhelmed; and Bree (Emilie Ullerup) and Connor (Andrew Francis) contemplate their futures with Simon (Oliver Rice) and Danielle (Britt Irvin), respectively.
