The CW has chosen to pass on Glamorous, their cosmetics dramedy starring Ben J. Pierce per Deadline's exclusive. The cast options expire this weekend for Glamorous.
Additionally, The CW has chosen to rework the pilot for The Lost Boys with only two leads sticking around for the new iteration; Medalion Rahimi and Dakota Shapiro.
Rahimi and Shapiro will star in the new pilot which is likely to film by the end of the year. The rest of the cast has been released.
Glamorous: Pierce delivered a breakout performance in the pilot. Despite some shortcomings of the pilot, I hear the CW executives were very high on its potential and tried hard to get it picked up series. But with a whopping 14 renewed and 3 new scripted series, getting another pickup proved an uphill battle.
The Lost Boys: I hear the CW brass loved the script, not all elements in the pilot came together in the execution, including casting, thus their decision to re-pilot the project.
