(from left to right: Katie Finneran, Leo Howard, Alicia Coppola)
Katie Finneran (Bloodline, The Looming Tower, The Michael J. Fox Show), Leo Howard (Santa Clarita Diet, Freakish, Kickin' It) & Alicia Coppola (Empire, Blood & Treasure, Shameless) have joined the recurring cast of Why Women Kill, a darkly comedic drama, per Deadline, which was created by Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives, Devious Maids) for CBS All Access.
Why Women Kill details the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the '60s, a socialite in the '80s and a lawyer in 2018, each dealing with infidelity in their marriages. The series will examine how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal... has not.
Finnernan will play Naomi, seen in 1982. Upscale, brash and fun, she is one of Simone's (Liu) friends and Tommy's (Leo Howard) mother. Effusive, she is a cheerful widow, left six million when her husband died, which she claims was "pretty nice."

Coppola will play Sheila. Seen in 1963, a New York Italian from Brooklyn, who is the friendly, outgoing, a bit overbearing, loud and well-meaning neighbor of Beth Ann (Goodwin) and Rob (Sam Jaeger).
