Killing Eve - Nice and Neat - Advanced Preview

Its been quite a few weeks since I watched episode 2 of Killing Eve which airs tomorrow night on BBC American, and I still don't know how exactly to describe the episode outside of saying..... it's weird.

Villanelle might've escaped from France but she's still very much injured and in need of another patch-up job. With no resources, no money, no-one to call, Villanelle is feeling extremely desperate, not to mention coming down with a fever, and that's how she stumbles into the path of a not so good Samaritan.

He ix extremely weird. Yes it makes for some humorous moments throughout the episode...... but he's still just really weird and Villanelle soon finds herself regretting ever laying eyes on him. As the episode progresses she comes to realize that she is in a great amount of danger which leads her to make a few interesting phone calls.

Eve meanwhile continues her work with the MI5 task team, who find her relationship with Villanelle fascinating. Eve can't help still being Villanelle's #1 cheerleader and she makes some discoveries this week which are sure to up the ante. As always with this show, the episode ends on a cliffhanger that I suppose could be termed as interesting if it hadn't been so obvious.

The first season of Killing Eve had a slow-ish beginning to it with the story moving at a pace to keep the adrenaline going, but not to fast that we couldn't keep up with proceedings. BBC American this week confirmed the news that the show has been renewed for a 3rd season which is exciting and deserved since Jodie Comer & Sandra Oh are two of the best actresses on television. Nice and Neat isn't the most captivating episode of the show and feels in places filler-ish, and I'm hoping the season doesn't wait too long to get the story moving at a pace again.

You can watch Nice and Neat tomorrow night on BBC America
