Evan Evagora has joined the cast of CBS All Access' untitled Star Trek series revolving around Sir Patrick Stewart's Jean-Luc Picard per Deadline's exclusive. Evagora will take on an undisclosed series regular role.

Evagora joins previously announced Santiago Cabrera & Michelle Hurd.

Character details as usual aren't being revealed. However, per The Hashtag Show and based on Evagora's background which Deadline mentions (I've added in a lot more detail from Showcast, via TrekCore), he could be playing K'Bar who is a martial artist per character breakdowns. Evagora has expertise in boxing so it seems fitting but bear in mind, this is just me guessing, it could be someone completely different, just thought you all would like an idea. Additional character info is available via The Hashtag Show's full article below.

K'Bar is the youngest of the leads. He's a 17-year-old Romulan and the only child of what's a mainly female Spiritual Order. A martial artist and considered a lethal weapon, he's prone to mood swings and is committed to living in the moment with as much transparency as possible. He takes his devotion to Picard and his mission EXTREMELY seriously. . . obviously, they're looking to find someone with Martial Arts experience, but also note that fencing is a plus as well.

Evan Evagora was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. His mother, Marie is of New Zealand and Cook Island Maori descent and moved from Auckland at the age of 20. His father, Xristos immigrated to Australia from his homeland of Cyprus at the Age of 3.

The youngest of seven siblings, Evan grew up excelling in sports, learning boxing at a very young age (instructed by his father, an ex professional) as well as playing Australian football. His family also pushed him to pursue his creative interests, having starred in school productions throughout primary school.

As he entered high school Evan’s focus shifted primarily to sports, winning a state boxing championship as well competing in football finals. At the end of his schooling Evan took a gap year across Europe with a group of friends before enrolling into film school. During his study he was scouted and then later moved to Sydney to pursue his acting career.
