Star Trek: Discovery - Season 2 - Anson Mount & Rebecca Romijn to Exit

Deadline has exclusively revealed that Anson Mount (Captain Pike) and Rebecca Romijn (Number One) will exit CBS All Access' Star Trek: Discovery at the end of the current second season.

Deadline notes that both actors had one-year deals and were contracted for a Season 2 arc only. The plan was to sync up Discovery with the original Star Trek lore by the end of this current season heading into Season 3.

The duo had been contracted only for Season 2 arcs as part of a plan to sync up Discovery with the original Star Trek lore by the end of the new series' second season heading into Season 3.
