In this episode, we have the tiniest of time jumps in order to reach Nolan's funeral. As our new liars find different ways to channel their grief, it isn't long before Nolan's death is ruled a homicide. The investigation into his murder commences and the spotlight is quickly shone on those closest in his life, but with each of our liars all having secrets they need to keep, will they be able to do so? As the trio are forced to spend more time together, in true PLL fashion it might just be possible that no matter where they are, someone will be watching them.
Elsewhere, Mona feels her own guilt over Nolan's death as she noticed some red flags during his admission process and she starts spiralling. Alison is there to lend a hand and help her out of her dark place, and in return, Mona helps Alison with her mysterious and frankly somewhat frightening personal antics ranging from decorations to mysterious texts. The shift in Alison's character in PLL to PLLTP fully takes place within this episode and yet doesn't betray her character as she takes on a more protective role.
With the murder investigation moving forward, all of our main characters quickly find themselves entangled and must make moves to ensure that the heat is taken off them.
