Ryan Devlin (Jane the Virgin, Cougar Town, Veronica Mars) and James Jordan (Yellowstone) are returning to reprise their roles as Mercer Hayes and Tim Foyle for the upcoming eight-episode limited series revival of Veronica Mars on Hulu. The actors revealed their returns via social media.
Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town's lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son's killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave's wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast's answer to Daytona Beach.
The capacity (i.e. recurring/guest starring) of Devlin and Jordan's return have not been revealed.

Devlin and Jordan join previously announced cast members for the Hulu revivial Enrico Colantoni, Ken Marino, Tyler Alvarez, Clifton Collins Jr., Izabela Vidovic, Ryan Hansen, Jason Dohring, Francis Capra, Percy Daggs III, David Starzyk, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Dawnn Lewis, Max Greenfield, Patton Oswalt, J.K. Simmons and Adam Rose.
