Hong Chau (Downsizing, Big Little Lies, Artemis Fowl) has joined the cast of Damon Lindelof & HBO's Watchmen adaptation per Deadline.
Set in an alternate history where "superheroes" are treated as outlaws, Watchmen embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.
Based on the limited comic series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Damon Lindelof pens the dark, satirical and dystopian take that sees Hong Chau take on the key role, according to Deadline, of Lady T, who is Vietnamese like Chau.
As per usual HBO didn't reveal a character description.
Chau joins a cast including James Wolk, Jean Smart, Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith and Adelynn Spoon.
