Tyler Alvarez (American Vandal) has joined the upcoming eight-episode limited series revival of Veronica Mars on Hulu per Deadline. Alvarez will take on the recurring role of Juan-Diego De La Cruz.
Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town's lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son's killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave's wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast's answer to Daytona Beach.
Alvarez will recur as Juan-Diego De La Cruz, a member of the Pacific Coast Highway biker gang that often find themselves in trouble with Veronica Mars (Bell).
Alvarez joins previously announced cast members for the Hulu revivial Enrico Colantoni, Clifton Collins Jr., Izabela Vidovic, Ryan Hansen, Jason Dohring, Francis Capra, Percy Daggs III, David Starzyk, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Dawnn Lewis, Max Greenfield, Patton Oswalt, J.K. Simmons and Adam Rose.
