Kirby Howell-Baptiste (The Good Place, Killing Eve) has joined the cast of the upcoming eight-episode limited series revival of Veronica Mars per Deadline's exclusive. Howell-Baptiste will recur as Nicole, the owner of the Neptune nightclub.
The past three seasons and movie will also be available on Hulu starting Summer 2019.
Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town's lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son's killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave's wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast's answer to Daytona Beach.
Additionally, TVLine revealed that Dawnn Lewis (iZombie) has also joined the cast of Veronica Mars in a recurring role. Lewis will play Marcia Langdon, the new police chief.
Howell-Baptiste and Lewis join previously announced cast members for the Hulu revivial Enrico Colantoni, Ryan Hansen, Jason Dohring, Francis Capra, Percy Daggs III and David Starzyk.
