Sendhil Ramamurthy (Reverie, Heroes) has joined the cast of NBC's New Amsterdam in a major recurring role per Deadline.
No details are being revealed but Ramamurthy will be playing a new doctor.
Ramamurthy will be bringing a lot of personal knowledge and experience into the role as his parents and sister are all doctors.
