WARNING: THIS PREVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR PREVIOUS EPISODES.
Previously on All American: Spencer paid a visit to his Crenshaw football team and butted heads with Chris. We learned Asher's family is broke and he almost permanently ruined a Porsche until Spencer was able to help him get it cleaned up. His continued lies about his financial status has put a rift between him and his girlfriend, Leila. Sean got Coop a job at the barber shop and we discovered he's hiding his money there too. Olivia revealed her tryst with Asher to Jordan and Leila got a visit from her dad... and his new girlfriend.
This week's episode is a pretty big one. We get several major plot developments between characters and in concern of the plot.
No more new on the mystery of Spencer's dad though.
Cooper has continued to be seduced by the gang lifestyle and what she deems a different side of Sean we haven't gotten to see before. Spencer isn't as convinced and the two butt heads over the current situation in Crenshaw.
Also butting heads this week is best friends Asher and Jordan. While scouting out their next big football rival with their coach in Malibu, a confrontation spilling over from the last episode causes tensions to boil over.
If you've ever watched a teen show before you'll find a familiar trope here in the way Billy makes them work out their issues with one another.
There is someone else we've seen before in Olivia's life as well, a possible new romantic interest sparks her eye.
Elsewhere, Coop gets to try her hand at emceeing during a big debut concert in Crenshaw for Chynna (Leila's dad's girlfriend, as played by Lil Mama) and Billy has his own rivalry to worry about.
