During the panel for Gotham's farewell season, several things were teased including confirmation of 10 episodes, the final episode jumping 10 years in the future, Shane West's casting as Bane, Oswald's new pet and much more.
First episode of #Gotham picks up in No Man's Land, with the government having given up on the city, and all the villains having their own section of the town. Gordon is trying to keep everyone safe until the government can "hopefully" rescue them #WBNYCC
