The SpoilerTV Favourite TV Series Competition 2018 - Day 23 - Sherlock vs. The Flash & Criminal Minds vs. Major Crimes

Sherlock's first appearance since 2015 started well with a victory over its American counterpart. It means the BBC series maintains a record of having always finished above Elementary — or, in its absence, above Elementary's highest-ever position. Today, Sherlock faces The Flash and it will surely be a sterner test. Surprisingly, it has a better historical record here than The CW's series but with Flash having overcome whatever demons saw it eliminated in last year's first round, expectation would be that it can perform here.

Criminal Minds is into the second round for the second time, following an exit at this stage in 2015. In a surprising tie, it was one of only three competitors to knock out a seeded show, in the form of Gilmore Girls. Its reward — if it can be called that — is a battle against Major Crimes today. The TNT series has never finished below sixth place in its three previous appearances and will be tough to beat.

A reminder of the rules:

1) Two shows will go into battle in a poll, where after exactly 24 hours, the leading show will win the battle and will progress into the next round. Each poll will open at 12pm ET on a given day.
2) Vote for your favourite and spread the word with your friends & fans.
3) One vote per person per poll.
4) Comment on what you voted for on in the comments below.
5) Have fun. This is a friendly & competitive competition. Please do not start attacking other fans or fangroups in the comments, because this really isn't what this competition is about.
