Netflix has ordered a TV series based on the IDW comic "Mystery Society", SpoilerTV has learned. Here is the logline:
Mick Hammond and Anastasia Collins are the Mystery Society — and bring new meaning to “underground cult” status! Stealthily avoiding the authorities, this skulduggery duo spend their time and money righting wrongs committed in the world’s underbellies with their team of misfit sleuths, crime solvers, and geniuses.
Per Production Weekly, the show is set to start filming next month.
Orignal comic writers Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) and Ashley Wood are set to write the series while John Calvert (Anne with an E, Flashpoint) and Damian Kindler (Krypton, Sleepy Hollow) will produce.
