Killjoys “O Mother Where Art Thou” was written by Andrew De Angelis and was directed by Michael Marshall, who moves into the director’s chair from director of photography. And no. Delle Seyah (Mayko Nguyen) isn’t the mother in question this time…

We travel back in time to 250 years ago on Arkyn – and run into some old friends.

Pree (Thom Allison) is reunited with Gared (Gavin Fox). Pree finds an interesting use for some of his accessories. Pree and Gared get new clothes. Pree makes Gared a promise when they disagree.

There’s a great scene with Turin (Patrick Garrow) and Weej (Ish Morris) – who proves to be a very good student. There’s also some great banter between John (Aaron Ashmore) and Lucy (Tamsen McDonough).

John makes a choice. John and Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) make a trip and find both more and less than they are expecting. Dutch says something for the first time that helps them out of a tight spot.

We find out who belonged to the face that Khlyen (Rob Stewart) put on the assassin’s face in the story. Dutch gets angry.

Zeph (Kelly McCormack) makes an interesting and very important discovery at the end of the episode that could have long-lasting consequences for everybody.

Don’t forget to tune in Friday at 10/9c!

And of course, some great dialogue teases – there are some great ones this week!

You are my guys!
Nice is for nursemaids.
Family don’t give up on each other.
Guys. You had one job!
You heard the crazy lady.
People change.
I may be damaged, but I’m not broken.
We need more power.
Did you forget the key?
Dick punch!
There’s a coldness to you now.
Anger’s good until it hurts you.
If you can’t do the impossible, do the honorable.
Surprises keep our relationship spicy.
Do not follow the bad men with pointy sticks!
Nice boots. I want ‘em.
Just figure out the override. We’ll come back to human school later.
But first, help Papa find those earrings.
If I tried to explain it, you’d think me insane.
I don’t need you to make me feel better. I just need you to move on.
