Confirmed for 2018 Premiere
During a Netflix Q2 2018 Earnings Interview from July, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos reveals that Daredevil is set to premiere later this year (the exact date is unknown) and ComicBook.comwas the first to spot this. Many speculated with Luke Cage and Iron Fist returning before Daredevil (which has been on hiatus since March 2016) meant it was probably pushed to 2019 (even though The Defenders ending had an emphasis on Iron Fist etc airing before Daredevil) that is not the case with Sarandos confirming Daredevil's return in 2018. The shows mentioned in the video have already released premiere dates for 2018 so it's quite likely Daredevil returns by possibly Nov/Dec to give Iron Fist a two-month window for itself (but this is just my speculation).
"In the short term, we've got new seasons coming up, in the second half of this year, of Orange is the New Black, Ozark, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Narcos, the finale of House of Cards, the follow-up series for Making a Murderer," and new shows Insatiable, Maniac, Disenchantment, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and bigger and better feature films, Sarandos said.
