Rob Morgan (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Mudbound) has joined the cast of This Is Us for its upcoming third season in a recurring role. Morgan will play a city councilman in the NBC drama per The Hollywood Reporter.
This Is Us returns Tuesday, September 25th on NBC.
Morgan will portray the role of Solomon Brown, a longtime city councilman and fixture in Philadelphia who oversees the very district where William (Emmy nominee Ron Cephas Jones) lived pre-Randall (Sterling K. Brown). The character is described as smart and charming, a family man and regular church-goer. He knows how to play the game and do what it takes to succeed.
