During the Cloak & Dagger SDCC panel, the cast and crew announced that the show has been renewed for a 2nd season. Freeform announced the new season with the tagline "Season 2 will be Mayhem", which seems to a reference to Brigid O'Reilly's (played by Emma Lahana) comic book alter ego.
