Heather Headley, who first appeared in the season three finale as Gwen Garrett, the new COO of Med, is returning to Med in a recurring role for the upcoming fourth season of the NBC medical drama. Per Deadline, Garrett is a Harvard graduate who has been hired to rein in costs, she finds herself quickly clashing with Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson).
