Dr. AJ Austin aka The Raptor (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) and Marshall Winthrop (Glenn Morshower) will be coming back to your screens in expanded roles. Recurring stars Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Glenn Morshower have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming 2nd season of FOX's The Resident per Deadline after previously only appearing in just three episodes of Season 1. Morshower plays Conrad's estranged father and chairman of the board at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital. Warner plays a cardiothoracic surgeon who joins Chastain Park Memorial Hospital at Bell's and Okafor's urging. His larger-than-life cardio-thoracic surgeon whose uncontrollable personality makes him a grave liability within the hospital walls.
