Charlie Covell, writer (of all 8 episodes) and series creator of The End of the F***ing World has a new series coming to Netflix. Kaos is an hour-long, ten episode series that reimagines Greek mythology.

A darkly comedic and contemporary reimagining of Greek mythology, exploring themes of gender politics, power, and life in the underworld.

Covell will create and write the series with Nina Ledeman, Tanya Seghatchian, and John Woodward serving as executive producers via United Kingdom-based All3Media and Brightstar. Vulture also notes that whilst Netflix doesn't release viewer ratings on their series, Ted Sarandos, Netflix's chief content officer revealed that despite early low expectations internally "it was astounding how popular it was for us". Whilst it wasn't well received via the UK TV linear model it was hugely popular in every country including Netflix UK. No word on whether Netflix and Channel 4 will formally announce a new season of The End of the F***ing World but "all indications are the series will be back."
