Nearly from the start of this round of voting, there was a clear staff winner and once she took the lead she held it all the way to an impressive win. The reader side was a bit more of a battle. After thousands of votes were cast one of the nominees had a big surge halfway through and was able to hold the lead to come out victorious. But her competition did not make it an easy win. These two won over some incredibly talented competition all of whom would have deserved to win. Congratulations to the two below winners.

The Reader’s Choice April winner is one of the stars of Timeless, Abigail Spencer. She won for her performance in Mrs. Sherlock Holmes (2x7), in which much like the women of the suffragette movement at the center of the episode, she learns how strong she is and takes a stand for herself. Everyone depends on Lucy to help them take care of the time anomalies and for being the heart of the Time Team. But, who takes care of Lucy? In this episode, in more ways than one, it’s made very clear that the only person Lucy needs to take care of her, is herself. Abigail Spencer gives a passionate and spirited performance in this episode that could be considered Lucy Preston’s Declaration of Independence. Fans related and have shown their admiration for both Abigail and Lucy by making her their selection as Reader’s Choice April Performer of the Month.

The Staff Choice April winner is Killing Eve’s, Sandra Oh. She won for her powerful performance in Sorry Baby (1x4). This was the game-changing episode for her character of Eve Polastri. Prior to this episode, chasing the evil Villanelle had been more like a game, a challenge to her skills as an analyst. However, in the episode prior to this, Villanelle had killed her partner and friend, and this is the episode where a significant change in Eve occurs. Now, as she works through the shock and grieves for her friend, an anger builds in her and she becomes all business with a single goal, to catch Villanelle, now the chase is personal. It is an episode in which Sandra Oh shines as she adds more layers to an already complex character. She impressed not only viewers but STV staff, easily earning and deserving the title of Staff Choice April Performer of the Month.
