14th May 2018 - Eamonn Walker Signs New Deal to Return, Monica Raymund Eyes Exit
EXCLUSIVE: Original Chicago Fire cast member Eamonn Walker has closed a new deal to return to NBC’s firefighter drama for its just ordered seventh season. He joins fellow original cast members Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney as well as newer cast additions Kara Killmer, Miranda Rae Mayo, Christian Stolte, Joe Minoso, and Yuri Sardarov.
As we reported, three original Chicago Fire series regulars, Walker, Monica Raymund and David Eigenberg, were without contacts for next season when the series was renewed earlier this week. I hear Raymund would not be continuing on the show. (Chicago Fire‘s season finale this week included a cliffhanger featuring her character that can accommodate that). I hear Eigenberg is likely to come back but talks with him are yet to begin.
