This week on The Good Fight, (character actress) Margo Martindale's Ruth Eastman calls the partners of Reddick, Boseman and Lockhart into a consultation strategy meeting for the impeachment of President Trump. Also, Lucca questions Francesca's sudden interest in her and the baby, and Maia fields interest from the assistant of a potential new client.
Tensions run high in the offices of Reddick, Boseman and Lockhart in this week's episode, as the newest case is trying to determine the best strategy to take in order to impeach President Trump successfully. Everyone thinks a different option is the best way to go, and Julius doesn't think the President should be impeached at all (obviously). Liz thinks they should go on the offense but keep their cards close to their chest, which Adrian objects to as he thinks that will risk losing the client. Liz argues that the other nine law firms that Ruth is consulting with will tell her the same things about impeachment, but her strategy is completely left-field compared to theirs. Only time will tell if it is enough to secure Ruth as a client.
Elsewhere, Colin's mom discovers Lucca is pregnant with his child and wants to be more involved in her life, much to the confusion and chagrin of Lucca. A link with Ruth Eastman makes her consider that there may be more at play than just grandmotherly instincts however.
Maia and Marissa go out with their respective other halves together, but Amy isn't too keen on Drew following an altercation in a bar. Maia and Amy have news, but I'm suspecting that their relationship troubles are far from over, especially when Maia is flirting with Ruth's assistant Carine. Maia, Marissa and Drew go out again a few nights later sans Amy where temptations arise for Maia that leave her questioning her current self and relationship with Amy.
