Demons, Sunday School, and Prime Numbers

A worried Mary sends Sheldon to Sunday school after she finds him playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends Tam and Billy.

Oh Dungeons and Dragons. I've never played this game when I was a child, maybe because they didn't sell it on my country, who knows. But when I saw Sheldon and their friends playing with Dungeons and Dragons I thought about Stranger Things - that's '80s.
The episode is pretty interesting because we learn more about Sheldon's proudly religious mom. Also we get to see how Sheldon's and Mary's visions collide: science versus faith. You know, he doesn't believe in God, but this doesn't mean he can't learn something from the Bible.
Sheldon is a smart and genuine child, sometimes naive, but he's hungry for culture and learning. Mary insists her religion is the one and only, Sheldon insists he wants to know the truth about God.
I can't tell you more, but the son/mom relationship is always fascinating to see in Young Sheldon.

Some teasers from the episode:

- Gosh, Zoe Perry is so good in her role. Some expressions really reminds me Laurie Metcalf in The Big Bang Theory.
- Chickens. A lot of chickens.
- There's a scene with Mary and some chinese sellers which is hilarious.
- Do you know what's the coolest book ever? It begins with a B.
- Sheldon really knows how to make her mom happy.
- Little Sheldon is number one student even in church.
- Never ask Tim what is catholicism.
- You'll never imagine but Kirk and Spock have a religion.

Some quotes from the episode:

"And this the devil?" "No, he's just a monster who doesn't wear pants."
"To have a smart son is a great joy. I do not have that joy."
"As an American I have freedom of religion?"
"We've got celebrities too."
"Zero was about to tell me the secret and you've reuined it!"
