NBC has put in development drama Bad Medicine based on the comic by Nunzio DeFilippis, Christina Weir and illustrator Christopher Mitten. The project hails from Midnight, Texas co-executive producer Mark Kruger and executive producer David Janollari, T.G.I.M. Films (Atomic Blonde) and Universal TV, where David Janollari Entertainment is based.
Written by Kruger, Bad Medicine is a character-driven procedural that brings together the unlikeliest pair — a world renowned yet recently disgraced physician and a former NYPD detective with a take-no-prisoners attitude. Together, with a select group of scientists, they lead the Global Disease Detection Unit of the CDC the SEAL Team Six of medicine.
